Where to get help with food, rent, utilities, and benefits enrollment in Wilbarger County.
2:30–4:30pm on the 2nd & 4th Mondays each month. Canned, dry, bakery items and frozen meats. Registration at First Presbyterian, 2001 Yucca Ln. Income-eligible, Wilbarger County residents only.
Wednesday evening meal open to anyone. Donations accepted.
Food: 1st Tue 10am–1pm; 2nd–4th Tue 10am–noon. Clothing/household: Wed 10am–noon & Fri from 9am. Utility help with a disconnect notice on the 1st Tuesday.
1st & 3rd Wed each month, 8:30–noon, by appointment. Rent, utilities, some prescriptions & dental, heaters/fans. Blessing Pantries at 4300 Augusta, 715 Indian, 2815 Sand Rd, and 2401 Wood St.
M–F 8:30–1:30. One hot meal 5 days a week for elderly and disabled Wilbarger County residents. Eligibility based on need and income.
Free medical supplies — walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs. Donations of these items also accepted.
M–F 8:00–5:00. SNAP, TANF, CHIP, Medicaid, and the Medicaid Savings Program.
M–Th 7am–4pm. Walk-ins welcome. Medicaid, TANF, or SNAP recipients automatically meet income guidelines.
Rental & energy assistance, weatherization, transportation (24–48 hr notice), veterans' assistance, Early Head Start & Head Start, case management. HQ: 118 N 1st, Crowell.
Financial help for education, transportation, supplies, and childcare. On-the-job training and unemployment info. Priority service for veterans and foster youth.
Educational assistance and advocates for medical issues and VA benefits.
M–F 9–12 & 1–4. Low-cost housing for seniors, disabled residents, and limited-income families.
Helps veterans and their families maintain or improve housing.
Rehabilitation or replacement for owner-occupied homes; must be current on property taxes with clear title.
Loans or grants for low-income homeowners to repair or remove health & safety hazards.

Part of the Boys' & Girls' Club. M–F 3:30–5:00. Clothing, shoes, and hygiene products for kids in the community.

Assessment, crisis intervention, home visits, individual & group counseling, and coordination of school and community resources for VISD students and families.
Supports Wilbarger County children in foster care — emergency assistance for kids removed in crisis, back-to-school, holiday items, and camp.

Income-qualified students in CTE or approved transfer programs may receive help with textbooks, childcare, or gas reimbursement (30+ miles from campus). Apply each semester.
Tuesdays at noon. Provides college scholarships for local high school students.
Meets Fridays at noon. Summer camp for disabled kids, 3-wheeled bicycles, eyeglass program, U.S. flag displays, and Kid League baseball support.

1st & 3rd Mondays each month, 6:00–7:30pm. Support for families and friends of loved ones dealing with addictions.
